Meet Desiree

My story with Green Lake began in 1981, when my parents purchased a small cottage while living in Beaver Dam. As a college student at Madison, I spent every chance I could coming to Green Lake to be on the water and those weekends quickly became some of my favorite memories. Years later, after moving to Chicago to pursue a career in design and raise my family, Green Lake became our escape. It was a place where our busy schedules slowed down, and life revolved around sunsets, boat rides, and time together.

Eventually, what began as a weekend retreat became home, as I decided to move to Green Lake full-time. Over the years, our cottage has become so much more than a vacation home. It has been the backdrop for birthdays, weddings, college summers, grandchildren learning to swim, and countless traditions that continue today.

That lifelong connection gives me a perspective that extends far beyond real estate. I understand that when someone buys a home, they're not just purchasing property; they're investing in a lifetime of memories. I know the character of each shoreline and nearby town, the little details that don't appear on a listing sheet, and what makes one property feel completely different from another.

Professionally, I combine my local knowledge with decades of experience in real estate, interior design, visual merchandising, and sales. My design background allows me to recognize a home's potential, help sellers showcase their property, and help buyers imagine what's possible. Having worked with homes in both metropolitan markets and lake communities, I understand how to position a property to stand out while providing thoughtful guidance throughout every step of the process.
